Annie Perales is like if Jane the Virgin lived in an Amy Sherman Palladino world, had the style of Emily in Paris, the grace of a baby giraffe, and a VERY loud (yet infectious) laugh.
Annie hails from the gorgeous & granolay land of Denver, Colorado. She WILL brag about how she has climbed half a dozen mountains, but she much prefers to look at them from afar.
Annie is a Leo sun (craves attention), a Cancer moon (very sensitive), and the youngest daughter in her family. So, of course she was destined to be an actress, or at the very least, run away to the circus.
(and an Aquarius moon, I know you were curious 😉)
FAST FACTS:
I hold my BFA in Drama from NYU Tisch.
I love to work on projects with a purpose. I think storytelling is my superpower, and just like most superheroes, I like to use my power for good and not evil.
(not opposed to playing evil characters though, I’ve got a haunting malicious laugh)
My career has allowed me to play around with a of multitude of theatrical genres such as: TYA, immersive & devised theatre, and new work.
I am currently in pre-production for an autobiographical short film about the realities of living with an OCD diagnosis.
When I am not on-stage or on-screen, I like to spend my free time crocheting, endlessly re-decorating my apartment, and biking around the city.
